HOW TO CARE FOR PLATED JEWELLERY

GENERAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS

plated jewellery has a thin layer of precious metal on another solid metal which can rub off with constant contact with your skin. continual exposure to sweat, water, perfumes, and chemicals present in the toiletries can tarnish the plated jewellery. to elongate the life of your plated jewellery, just follow these simple care instructions
always take your plated jewellery off before sleeping to avoid constant friction created when it rubs against your skin.

keep your jewellery dry. if your plated jewellery gets wet then immediately wipe it with a paper towel.

avoid letting your jewellery coming in contacts with chemicals like chlorine, nail polish remover, soaps, or perfumes as it can destroy the metal coating.

take your jewellery off before any tough physical activity to keep it away from your sweat.

store all your jewellery in individual plastic bags to avoid tarnishing and removal of the thin plated layer due to rubbing and scratching.

Shipping Policy :

All SNAKE1NTHE3Y3 pieces are shipped in a grained cardboard box personally branded in the designer’s studio. Enclosed in each box you will find a travel pouch, and a polishing cloth. Some products are made-to-order. This means that instead of keeping a stock, each piece of jewellery is handcrafted after purchase. Therefore, please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. Contact contact@snake1nthe3y3.com if you wish to receive your order any sooner.  We appreciate your patience in waiting for the order. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking number for the shipment.

If you have any concerns about the where abouts of your parcel, you can contact contact@snake1nthe3y3.com by visiting the product page and clicking on the ‘contact’ tab. Although, please regularly check your mailbox as missed delivery cards have been known to go missing, so it could turn out that your parcel’s been waiting for you all along. All orders will send out a shipping notification with a tracking number so you can track your orders from there. 



Refund Policy : 

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 14 days of receiving the order. Please note that a 10% restocking fee applies on all returns, and we are not responsible return delivery fee.  The restocking fee does not apply for misdelivered or damaged items. Returned items must be sent back unused in their original packaging. Used, worn- out, or broken items will not be accepted for return. All returns must be sent back with a tracking number. Prior to your return, make sure to contact contact@snake1nthe3y3.com stating ‘’ return + Order*’’ in the subject line for detailed information on the return process. SNAKE1NTHE3Y3 reserves the right to refuse refunds if jewellery items are not returned according to the directions given above. Refund will be granted after the returned items have been checked. This may take up to 3-4 days. Exchanges are not possible. Once a return has been received and accepted, SNAKE1NTHE3Y3 will arrange for a refund back to the original payment method (this may take up to 7 days to appear on your statement).
